How to make a delicious garlic and chilli Tenderstem broccoli side dish, to accompany any meat.

Ingredients
Method
160g 5½oz Tenderstem broccoli
2 Cloves garlic (chopped)
10 Cherry tomatoes (cut in halves)
1 Red jalapeno chilli (chopped)
15g / 1tbls Extra virgin olive oil
Small knob of butter (unsalted)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
Step 1:
Blanch the tenderstem broccoli for 2 to 3 minutes in salted boiling water; then cool in cold water; once cold, drain and gently pat them dry with a kitchen paper towel; set them aside until need.
Step 2:
In a frying pan or wok over medium heat, get the oil and butter hot, add the garlic and chilli, and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 3:
Add the broccoli and tomatoes to the pan, and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry and toss the ingredients for a couple of minutes. Add a squeeze of lemon juice.
Step 4:
Serve piping hot with a medium-rare ribeye steak or roast chicken breast and fries on the side.
