Liked the gloves, but are they machine washable?

    • John

Hi Jay, thanks for supporting John’s channel, yes, they are machine washable, but no higher than 40°C / 104°F.

I’ve wanted these gloves for a couple of years now but apparently you don’t deliver to France!!! Are you boycotting us and other EU countries for some reason? Bit miffed.

    Hi John,

John, I owe you a debt of gratitude. During the pandemic, your videos got me on the home bread-baking path. Do the skeleton gloves come in a medium size too?

Is the ebay shop linked somewhere? I’m in the USA and would love to support John with a purchase

These are so much better than my traditional “two pads joined by a strip of material” style gloves. Many of the benefits of these gloves are fairly obvious – my hands aren’t tied together (although my left hand still instinctively follows my right hand even though it no longer needs to!), I can grip spoons and spatulas to stir things without having to take off the gloves, etc. But one benefit I didn’t expect was the skeleton design which I assumed would be just a cute graphic. In fact the “bones” are made out of a high grip material which greatly reduces the danger of anything slipping out of my hands. Excellent safety idea! Handling glass casserole dishes has always felt awkward and unsafe with my traditional “gloves”, but these new gloves feel much safer. And still on safety, the cuffs cover well beyond my wrists, so no more risk of burns from accidentally touching the upper oven shelf.

Thanks for your positive review, Ian, you’ve covered some great and very important safety points in your assessment. John.
